May 1st and 2nd of 2010 has been the wettest two days with historical amount of rain for Nashville Tn. Many roads are flooded and schools are closed. This is one of the most severe rain events Nashville has ever experienced. This storm is responsible for turning local roads in to rivers, sweeping away vehicles and buildings. A portable School building was lifted by flood waters and washed away onto I-24 only to become lodged and broken in to pieces.

Assuming equal reading skills, right-brained people typically find this more difficult and left-brained people are able to read the colors faster. This is because right-brained people process information more simultaneously and left-brained people process information sequentially.

The right-brained people therefore tend to find it more difficult to separate the color information from the word information and therefore find it mentally more challenging.

If you want to disable the accelerators feature in IE 8, please perform the following steps.

1. Start Internet Explorer 8.

2. Click Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced

3. Then uncheck the box for Display Accelerator button on selection, under Browsing.

I do a lot of searching. My wife says I'm the king of search and know how the Search Engines think. One of the tools I like to use is the Advance Search. I have set my settings to show 100 results per page and only in English. Sometimes you may want to find something on a particular site so you and use "Search within a site or domain: " . You can also specify a whole class of sites, for example you can type this in the browser without the brackets [ farming site:.gov ] will return results only from a .gov domain.

I've been asked a few times what we are doing for dishwater detergent. The two basic ingredients are 1 part Borax and 1 part Washing Soda. Mix them well together. It's that simple. The powder is white so mix them well. The photo to the left are the two most common brands. Washing Soda was the hardest to find. If you are not able to find it at your local grocery store try a big box hardware store. Also, plain white vinegar where you would add the Jet Dry to work as a rinse.

The /e means explore then you have the drive and directory. Change yours as you see fit.

Carrie Prejean first runner-up in the 2009 Miss USA pageant -- do the right thing in defending traditional marriage, even though it may have cost her the crown? Absolutely! When Carrie Prejean was asked by a homosexual about her stance on same-sex marriage "Prejean said she personally believed marriage should be between a man and a woman." What can be so wrong with having a belief and staying the course? She is Miss USA! What an excellent roll model for all to follow.

I totally agree with the statement "Our country faces a grave danger. Our elected officials in Washington are leading us down an unwise path." AFA and other groups have called for a day of TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party rallies across the U.S. on April 15. I’m going to participate also to motivate others to get involved.

So guys, lets get our voices heard and get with a few friends to go to the rally. I hope too see you there!

Tax Day Tea Party

The Tax Day Tea Party is a national collaborative grassroots effort organized by American Family Association, Smart Girl Politics, Top Conservatives on Twitter, the DontGo Movement and many other online groups/coalitions.

The Tea Party protests, in their current form, began in early 2009 when Rick Santelli, the On Air Editor for CNBC, set out on a rant to expose the bankrupt liberal agenda of the White House Administration and Congress. Specifically, the flawed "Stimulus Bill" and pork filled budget.

During Rick's rant, he called for a "Chicago tea Party" where advocates of the free-market system could join in a protest against out of control government spending.

A few days later, grassroots activists and average Joe Americans began organizing what would soon become the Nationwide Chicago Tea Party effort.

On February 27th, an estimated 30,000 Americans took to the street in 40+ cities across the country in the first nationwide "Tea Party" protest.

Organizers of the February 27th events pledged to continue on with an even bigger and better protest to follow the first. With April 15th being "Tax Day", it was decided to schedule the second round of Tea Party protests to ride alongside the tax deadline.

And with that, the "Tax Day Tea Party", the second round of the Nationwide Tea Party protests, moved into reality.

On April 15, be part of the Taxed Enough Already (TEA) party rally in your community
On the day you pay your taxes, Wednesday, April 15, join others across the country and in your hometown who will be participating in TEA party rallies in front of their city halls. The TEA party rally will begin at 12 noon.
